Who will cry when you die?
Wednesday, December 26, 2007
Who Will Cry When You Die? by Robin Sharma I read this book last year in Borders but juz half-read.. Today i went there again and got the same book! The title is actually very interesting, "Who will cry when you die?" . It really makes me think about it. Will my friends cry when I die? My family? It is very important to have good relationship with our friends and family. Meeting once in awhile, sitting in mamak stall and chit chat to catch up with each other is more than enough to keep in touch! I never think to be the best friend of every one of my friends but at least a small foot marks in their hearts. Haha.. I dun mean to b a saddist but I do hope tat my friends will cry for me when I die! LOL!! To be best friends, we have to accept all their bad and good personalities. The fact is we will notice more and more bad habits of our friends when we get closer and closer to each other. But true friends can only be made when they accept each others bad character and support each other in any situation! Getting friends is the most valuable gift in life! I refer this message to someone...
When we meet anyone, Remember it is a holy encounter, When you treat them, you will treat yourself, When you think of them, you will think of yourself, Never forget, in them you will find yourself or lose your Self.
This is a story from the book:
In an accident, two friends were admitted into the hospital and sent to stay in the same room. One of them was placed near the window while the other in the corner of the room. He was very boring one day and ask wat is happening outside the window. " Many ppl walk in and out of the building.. The day is fine and trees are moving as if they are waving with me". Since tat day, the one lying near the window will describe the view he sees from the window. During autumn, he tells how the leaves fall from the tree. During winter, he tells how the white snow covers the road and cars. Day by day, The patient lying at the corner getting more and more jealous of the one near the window. Why he can see all the great scenery outside but i can only listen from him? One night, the patient near the window was in dangerous condition. He needed help from the doctor. The patient in the corner did nothing but kept quiet and eventually, he died. The next morning, the dead body was moved from the room and the patient immediately asked the nurse to shift him near to the window. He was very excited but as he looked out the window... it was all bricks! The window was blocked by a huge building and he can hardly see any scenery. The other patient was making story everyday to entertain him so that he wont get boring but what he did??!!
